A local hair salon showed its customers their appreciation with a special event.
Panache hair salon takes one day a year to transform their space into a banquet hall. Customers received free massages and beauty consultations, as well as refreshments. The event doubles as a food drive. Clients were encouraged to bring a non-perishable donation to help support the Emmaus Soup Kitchen.
Jim Farrell, Director of Panache Salon and Spa, says, "We try to just increase awareness for why we do this. And it is half because of our customers and half because of wanting to give back in some way. And our relationship with Emmaus and the Kid's Cafe has been long-going."
Hundreds of Panache customers participated in their 12th annual event.
